Economic Forces in American History Online (EFIAHO) courses are designed for teachers of both economics and history who want to incorporate a historical economic perspective into their classrooms. The lessons and materials are drawn from the ÎäËÉ´óÕ½Å˽ðÁ«â€™s popular Economic Forces in American History program, introducing and applying the concept of the “economic way of thinking.”

The curriculum is divided into two parts:Ìý

Economic Forces in American History Online: Colonialism – Early 20th Century (EFIAHO Colonialism) covers topics such as indentured servitude, the settling of the American West, the great migration and civil rights, and economic reasoning as a tool of historical inquiry.Ìý

• Registration: approximately 20 students per section, first-come first-served, based on receipt of registration paymentÌý
• Optional Graduate Credit: 2 semester hours of graduate credit available from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs for an additional fee of $122/credit unit.Ìý

EFAHO: Early 20th Century – Present covers topics such as the rules of the game, innovation and education, war and the American economy, the great depression, and economic reasoning as a tool of historical inquiry.Ìý
