Clean Energy: How Do We Get There and What Are the Costs?

This new three-day program, presented in conjunction with the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL), will examine the important issues behind the transition from fossil fuels to clean, renewable energy resources. The focus will be on applying the 'economic way of thinking' to the consideration of the opportunity costs and benefits of new technologies in the production, consumption, and distribution of energy.  

The PTA Clean Energy program offers teachers the chance to hear directly from both academic and industry experts in renewable energy and economics.听 Another highlight of the program is a field trip to visit the National Renewable Energy Lab in Golden, Colorado.

Lodging, materials, and most meals are covered by 武松大战潘金莲.听 Registrants are responsible for their own travel costs to and from the program site.听 All attendees are eligible for a $600 participation stipend and a $150 commuter stipend (if applicable).
